Deathball Irc Network

Im about to set up an irc network and was wondering. I know the euro is stuck on qnet and the NA is stuck on GSm but what if we had our own network. I am looking at about 3-5 server for milti location. Lord know what kind of people we could bring to light about db if we had our own network.

This is just a though so i wanted to ask

the general thought here is Euro hates gs, NA hate qnet so why not have one for everyone. Thats New :)

I don't really think it has a chance of working, there are quite a few db-related channels on both qnet and gamesurge, moving them all would be too much of a hassle. Kudos for suggesting it though.

what about enterthegame? it's the default UT IRC server, so easier to find for newbies

Gamesurge has been very unstable for some time now. We could use a better place.

Quakenet is good other than the occasional G-Line or *.net *.split

Yeah gamesurge has been crazy, we have an average going of one huge split a night, durring our peak mixing time, which dysenches the channel, and then the pickupbot lags 20 minutes behind, and everything gets retarded ;P

we must move o/

Gamesurge is getting to be more of a pain than its worth.
