I keep getting emails saying that my private message inbox is full, there are only 2 messages in there and they were cancelled by the senders. Also, every time I open a message, it automatically deletes itself after I view it. Maybe there is a special folder that they are sent to but I can't find it.

Or make sure you're viewing messages 'from the beginning'.

Or post this on the gs.net boards that are more 'en plein public' for the admins to see
