what about posting more msgs in the console, like "OwnaA pass the ball to SuckaB!" or "Interception by NixxBlikka!" or something like that?
This could be a big enriching for any IRC Livebot and it makes the pursue of a dball game in irc much better.
what you mean?

well...im IRC you can have nearly unlimited watchers...not only a few speccs....and you can follow the game "by the way" doing other things...and some more console outputs doesn't really mean much work for you i think.

as is said above...watching the match "by the way" without beeing ingame is the biggest advantage for IRC...and the guys are already in IRC.

i think irc reporters are very useful ^^
spectating often is very boooring...doing other things but knowing the score is nice

Yeah, I agree on that. A reporter bot can be real fun sometimes
