Keith Barrett Show, Live.

Anyone who watched BBC2 some time ago will know about Keith Barrett.
The lonely, slightly depressed and divorced Welshman who goes around telling everyone "Hey, divorce isnt that bad..." took his BBC show on the road and on the 21st he brought it to the Sheffield University's Octagon... and i was there!
Sitting 3 rows in and on the aisle i was bricking it at first, but at the top of the show he picked on "Near-Liverpool" Policeman Seb and "Trendy" Ben on the front row. Phew!
He went on for 45 mins, 10-15min break, then a hour (+encore) and i dont remember a time i wished i didnt bother.
He's not a standup comic, like Peter Kay, but he does do a lot of "jokes" - just in a context. Ranging from funnies about divorce to insulting disabilities and making light of situations it's a great show.
If anyones seen the TV show you'll know he probes the relationship of a celebrity couple he has on, not in the Live show. He instead got a poor couple from the crowd. Here in Sheffield the woman was red-faced all the way through, throughout the the second half. Oh, dont ask a question if he doesnt have a hand mic! (i wont ruin it as to why :p)
Anyway, im revising + writing small paragraphs about a show i went to see when i should have been revising... great!
The point of this is many-fold...
1) Something for me to do.
2) Something for you to read.
3) If he comes to/near you, go see him - you wont be disapointed.
4) Something for me to do.
Anyway, yeah... 3)!!!
