I will give a general question, and you (the reader lol) should come up with the most creative answer to the question.

And your answer DOES NOT HAVE to follow the laws of science?life etc.

Why are manhole covers round?


(avoid obvious answers like "no sharp corners" etc.)

Nicky the are round when you look at them but when I look at them they are triangles

I think it's so round people have less problem getting in them...

The exact same reason why plug holes are round!
Whatever that reason may be

plugs hole are round because when I butterfly flies on the other side of the world its wings go round in cicrles.......so plug holes HAVE to be round

I dunno...the little voice in my head says that they're round so that the electricity doesn't get caught on any square edges..

Manhole covers are round because a disk can't fit through the circular opening any way you try to push it through. If it were square the manhole cover would fall through the square hole it was designed to fit along the diagonal.

EDIT: As I have been chastized for my logical thinking, I have been more creative on the next page of this thread.
