RIP Richard Whiteley

How gutted was i when i got a text from one of my mates at Uni. Countdown host and all round legend Richard Whiteley has kicked the bucket at the untimely age of 61.
He's an absolute legend, to any age group. From my gran who watches Countdown probably every day down to the students, like me, who caught it when nothing else was on because it is a great programme.
The man was bit and held onto by a ferret for crying out loud, he's a saint!
I hope theres a national day of mourning for him, mainly because Countdown was more or less the Flagship show of Channel 4, without him it cant be the same...
...and its another day of work. But for all the right reasons!
RIP "Twice Nightly" Whiteley, you'll be missed.
