Flak asked if I could setup a BattleField 2 Server to help promote his Gaming Review web site (
http://www.corrosiongames.com/)
The server is now up and running.
Name: Corrosion Games 32 Player UK
IP: 195.157.35.89:16567
Currently running all the maps.
Sadly we can't have a Ranked server since EA are c**ts and don't allow everyone to run them, you have to be either a Gaming ISP (like Mulitplay) or be able to offer at least 10 BF2 servers. Also Ranked server settings are locked down tight so we couldn't change any of the server settings even if we wanted to.
If you use the In-Game browser, then just run a search for "corrosion" or you can now use external server browsers like The All-Seeing Eye or X-Fire to join the server.

means you cant work up your stats to unlock new weapons and vehicles
tbh not many people play on non-ranked servers

i play on non-ranked servers a lot, generally so i dont lose thousands of global points when artillery-ing or jihad-jeeping people

Meh, that sucks. On the other hand, my mass bombardements won't do any good for my points on a ranked server ¬_¬
