To sorta restart the team i want to get a basement of some guys in this department.
So if anyone is interested, call me.

-this would include searching for talents for possible recruitment
-getting db pimped here and there
-maybe phone calls to publishers or whoever
-etc. you name it

It's just that I wanna make the game and not worry about all this stuff, it's not my thing :)
and I need to concentrate on 1 or 2 things to be good with them, not on so much.

i'd love to see db start getting worked on again. i know atleast one person here in the NA that tries his best to promote db Imaginos duh.

PS - next cube version you make stick in some relevent ad banners :< like nadbl and eurodbl links so the new kiddies can learn more about organized play.

To be fair, you're asking us... US!

You never rely on us for anything and with good reason. What you should be doing is lookin on the major forums for people and what-not, since the people here are about as useful as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

To be honest, though, i think you owe it to a few people around here to try harder than asking the 20-30 people left here (the majority of which wont be able to help) to save this mod.

But what do i know, im just an arrogent punk :p

Not sure what to try, but something has to be done. IMHO, I think all the copies of UT2004 that are going to be sold have already been sold. Chances of drawing new people to the UT2004 platform look slim to nil. I would focus on getting the attention of people who still play the base game or other mods. We sure have outlasted a lot of the competing gametypes, and that's because the game stands up. How do we spread the word?

I know a lot of the good uscript talent is all tied up in things ranging from real life to who knows what.. that's if they haven't moved on to the next platform. How much programming muscle can we really hope to attract? How many experienced folk are willing to take on some uscript trainees?

If this was a mod for hl2, this would be so much easyer :(.

Imaginos, please give it a try, I can't think of anyone more qualified for the job than you.

Is there a online teach-website or something for uscript? :o

nobody of you even listened, did you?

im not talking about coding, im not talking about modding, not about ut2004, nothing to do with that, because i dont wanna have anything to do with em. no more ut2004 etc-bullshit for me

I'm sure if anyone here felt they had the required skills and experiance to do the job well they would come forward.

Ok, so you just want to continue on with notpron and that's it?

If you bow out, will gameservers.net continue with their very generous hosting support of the mod?
