Idea for display panels

the display panels in cube that say "deathball / join the dbl" and so on in white on black don't seem to be very exciting.
for unreal tournament there was something called SCREEN

a texture script. was used in jailbreak for example.
i don't know if there already is something similar for ut2003 and i don't know how hard it is to code it for that purpose... but with it one could make some good use of that panels!
for example fake commercials, the latest deathball news (it can process information from the internet), just another radar map and what not.
