The way Benfica has been performing lately domestically (3 losses in 4 games, and really bad performances) it's safe to say that Liverpool will, unfortunately, crush Benfica.

Guess i was wrong :o

I must say that was totally unexpected, i was already preparing myself to lose the trousers and let liverpool rape us.

But i think that it was actually deserved, liverpool were too defensive in the 2nd half and got punished for that. Well, they still got everything to play for in Anfield Road.

no our tactics in attack have gone up-fucked.

rafa needs to sort out morientes and harry fucking kewell. luis garcia is a turnip on the ball too.

ball to kewell > 30ft in the air > luis garcia falls over like a sack of spuds.

fowler and morientes... both slow as shite.. neither get into good positions to have a decent shot..

we need to play crouch and cisse.... :| and i wish harry kewell would go back to friggin school of excellence cuz he needs it. :@

Who cares about the champions league? The football league beat the Italian league 1-0, and Chris Eagles (Watford) was man of the match ;).

I dunno man.

Problem with our attack is there is no clinical striker. Fowler is the closest we have to anything like that. The rest couldnt find the goal if it were 2 miles wide. Cisse is the worst we have. He may have pace, but he has nothing else.

I think Kewell just keeps on improving, but yeah, he does have his off moments.

The thing with Garcia, is that he gives the ball away too easy, but does have a habit of scoring some blinders.

As for the foul that led to the free kick Benfica scored from, well that was b.s. No way was that a foul, but thats football. Shit happens.

We're still in with a chance in the 2nd leg, but if Benfica get just the one, i think it will be game over - with our strikers, its unlikely we'll get 3 goals. unless our midfield comes to the rescue again.

No wonder Benitez was fuming. Did you see his face? Never seen him that angry before.

edit: on a side note, I met Sol Campbell today. Decent guy. Though I also found out what those 'personal problems' are - I think. You're gonna be shocked if and when the News of the World release the full story!

Hetrosexual?

I think Kewell just keeps on improving, but yeah, he does have his off moments. <--- no,no,no,no hes just as bad as he ever is. he needs to shave is head like he did for leeds and start running at some defenders :|

The thing with Garcia, is that he gives the ball away too easy, but does have a habit of scoring some blinders. <--- that i agree with. though he has to be one of our worst players on the pitch

and for cisse, i'd rather see him than morientes... who is just blind infront of goal

dudek / finnan, hyypia, carra, warnock / riise, hamann, alonso, gerrard (ok gerrard on the right..but it worked against the scum) / crouch, folwer or cisse

tough one between hamann and si, tough one between fowler or cisse......I,m.o
