omg. im sure it doesnt take that long to animate a tv show, they only have to make it 3 times longer

1. they need 6 months for one episode
2. 3 times longer would be 1 hour
3. it has to be really really cool or they ruin their whole image

hard to believe :s

and each episode is 30 minutes, 3 times more would be about 1 hour 30 minutesm who taught you math :p

Actually there are over 300 episodes. Probably more like 350 now. Half of that is 175 and yeah it's not been going 175 years, less than 20. 6months a series just about fits I reckon, but no it's not 6 months an episode, come on. It may seem a bit procrastinated but it's really just cause it's gonna be an ubersimpsons. They have to advertise it like hell first as well. But yeah I think it should still be done a lot quicker than that...

Maybe it's a huge step up graphically.

Like South Park Bigger, Longer and Uncut was to the regular South Park series (except the Simpsons is of a way higher standard )

one episode without intro and outro is more or less 20 minutes...and they do need 6 months to make one...with storyboards, voices, animating, coloring, music.
just when the story and voice team is done, they hand it to the animators and they can start with the next episode.

i hope they dont change any graphic style in the movie...otherwise the series looks crap compared
