what is the current obsesstion with volley only, why dont ya'll go play gibball
whats the point? all it does is cut down on the amount of choices available, if its not volley only its not like you CANT volley...its just ruining the game for those of us who like to shoot.
plus volley only is flawed really, if the keeper and defence know its volley only its not exactly hard for a decent defense to stop a goal attempt...volleys in a real game are about suprises...this ...is... shit

I hate VO...No-one ever passes and it all becomes predictable and boring after a while...Oh look, another wall pass...zzzzzz....And it's a pain having to volley with a high ping.
well, we have a VO rule now, so you see it before you join the server and its impossible to score normal goals

It's funny that people are complaining about VO because people ball hog and such. You guys must be playing with n00bs because the people I play with in NA pass almost to the extent of failure when we play VO. We have VO should be a "gentlemans" agreement pretty much how it is assumed that SmallCube is VO.
The thing with the n00bs is that we tell them "Volley Only" but they don't take the time to ask wtf that is. So no I don't think you should get flamed because you didn't know what VO meant or was. But I think you should get flamed if people tell you and even take the time to SHOW YOU but you still don't do it. We need n00bs for DB to continue to be successful. But we need n00bs that want to learn. Just my opinion.
volley only is a bad gametype as it is, it ruins the game for proper players who prepher to shoot rather than volley, i cant STAND anymore small cube volley only bullshit, not enough room to move or pass properly, its just volley spam thats all.
I say dont play vo, why?
think about it, if its not vo you can do your glorious volleys, but then we can shoot as well, best of both worlds. why cut out our fun just so everyone has to volley. IMO there is more skill doing decent shots against a good keeper than there is doing decent volleys.
finally volleys on shaky connections like mine are not good, sometimes i have to hit fire with the ball about a mile away from me, sometimes right up close. because of this my timing gets bad on some servers... and i have no choice but to leave the game
if the way you shoot is holding down left click and pointing it at the goal you're not a very good striker.
