ok, just want to know what ppl think of this situation.

Team A (home team) and team B are trying to play a DBL game. They have an 18day window in which to do so.

Team A cant play the game in the last few days of the window.

Team A repeatedly challenges team B in the 1st 2 weeks of this window but team B declines every time (but plays 3 other DBL matches during that time with other teams)

Now we get to the last few days of the window and Team A cant play but team B wants to.

who gets the default win?

Well I'm the n00b of the DBL Admin family but I'd have to side with A on that one

I would say Team A, since they have offered several dates before hand, and Team B are aware of the situation. Surely one of the dates offered would be acceptable, specially since Team B has been playing other clans on them days.

I'd say Team A, without any doubt.

That's my only problem with the whole situation, you guys should have used the comment system.

And Team A did only offer 1 date tbh

Team A asked team B right at the start of the window and team B said "no we dont want to think about it now"

team A asked team B in IRC lots of times to play the game.

then Team A offered a date near the end of the window a week in advance to make team B happy and team B declined it one day before the match was to be played...

Team B was asked for the 2nd time today.
Team B was not in the right shape to play at the time Team A suggested, so they chose a later date because the 'window' still allowed some room.

but Team B still they play loads of games, leaving Team A stunned. And if i remember corectly i asked once you replied 'don't want to think about it now' 2nd time i asked (on sunday) you replied not till end of the week / weekend when i have my comp back. I enter the date for Saturday. you decline on friday asking for next friday 1 day out of the window. You then play a friendly on the day i put the date down, i then req. to play while you have the players and we do. you say '(17:36:01) (DavidM) we are not prepared for you ' so what? you have the players, we wasn't prepared either, and then for the remainder days (mon - thurs) Team A will be 2 players short of thier active 5.

Ah, it all makes sense now...

we were playing other matches....they were train matches
we were totally out of shape, we sucked so much we could not just give you 3 points, we at least wanna give you a hard time
