...idea on international games?
Someone said it was postponed cos DavidM wasnt in it, but i dont belive that

Think I heard somewhere that the competition would take place between one season ending and the next starting.
i think it was a good idea and could have brought up a lot of excitement so it would be a shame if the idea wasn't followed thourgh.

actually i never planed any kind of cup conderning national teams 0_o
and i see many players dont even have time for their actual team

there was definitly something planned for the national cup...DavidM was just referring to national teams tho.

if i had the php know how and a server, i would hold the cup and a prize of somesort, money would proberly be it, £20 a player or something.

Well theres plenty of us that would be willing to loan servers I'm sure but with the competition being so international it would be difficult to find servers with a fair ping for each team.

yeah servers are going to be a pain, where its 50 ping in the uk its 100 added for somewhere like americia. maby a 2 game match, different servers to give each team bad/good ping.
even though 150 ping is not that bad at all. 200+ would be getting silly.

i wouldn't mind just having international friendly matches with american and european teams, but yeah this would be kinda hard to do considering time zones etc.
