Help setting up server with 2.4w

I'm trying to run a rented server with DB2.4w, however, whenver I try to connect to it, I get the mismatch error about the package '2k4Menus'. I know this is not something wrong with my client, as I can connect to other 2.4w servers- It must be on the server. Strangely, on my server, under UT2004\Deathball\Textures, the UT2k4Menus file is the same size etc. as the one on my client- so I cannot see what's wrong. Any help much appreciated, thanks.

I would double-check the command you're using to start deathball on the server.

This thread may help:

It's from two years ago but I think everything still applies.

Thanks- I'm not using the -mod=Deathball line, simply webadmin. I tried downloading the edited package files from http://bud.recongamer.com/deathball/multimod.zip, but that link's been down for a while now, I gather. I tried editing the packages myself, but UCC.exe doesn't seem to want to work- So I was wondering, does anyone have these files... And is it even the solution? Or is there an alternative solution? :}

Hopefully I've done this right:

Hey, yeah, those packages work great- But I now have a new problem: When I connect, it seems to be installed badly- Whenever someone scores, the scoreboard stays at 0-0, everyone appears to be on red team, and there're various other problems.

I'm willing to give FTP/admin access if needed...

Thanks a lot for your help so far, The_One, you're being really helpful. :)

If that doesn't help maybe you could post the server's 'Deathball.log' here.
