Firstly, I must say I LOVE! deathball:devil: and have played in since v1.0


I recently formatted my machine and was wondering whether it is worth downloading the 60-odd mb file to put deathball 1.6 on my machine or whether I should w8 for a little bit for deathball 1.7.

Just wondering 'about' what time the next one will be out?

get 1.6

then when 1.7 comes, u can DL a smallish update instead of a big full 1.7 install

in the end it wont be that much diff i think

iirc, davidm said there wont be an 'upgrade' version as there is little difference between the full and upgrade filesizes.

get 1.6 and play now

It sucks big time. Thankfully I can nip to University and use their T1 connection to download DB...But only if 1.7 is released before the end of term, otherwise I'm stuffed!!

if you call 30-50 megs small...

i do personally, i love adsl

Erm, currently in Brighton, then back to London at the end of the month.

man 50-60 mb aint too bad, shouldnt be more than 4 hours on 56k, just go do something else while its dling

hmm 30-50mb is fine

especially when the speed is somehwere between 200 and 500kb/sec
