No I don't mean the techicalities of all it (I wouldn't understand it anyway), but how will they behave?

Will the 'celebration' phase go and be replaced by a replay?
Will replays only be on screens (like in Cube 3.0)
Will you be able to view the replays from any of the spectator cams?
Will replays be optional?
How long will they last (5 seconds?)
And will they be in slow-motion?!

I suppose with demorec you could record the goals and maybe set up a goal-of-the-month competition in the DBL!!

I know they won't be in 1.7 but I've always wondered what vision DavidM has got for implementing them (providing the coding can be done of course)...

Yeah, i was wonderin what format they'd be in too. I suppose it'd cut back a few seconds before the goal... obviously (?)

well, after a goal you see the scorer running around for 3-4 seconds
then the replay starts (in slow motion, starting 5 secs before the goal, lasting until 2 secs after it)

hmm if replays are added then definitely make them optional, or people will bitch about it

well the replays could surely be just added and replace the 5 second wait, it will also make for good time for the conceeding team to see what went wrong defensively and review tactics if necessary.

I'm sure they'll end up optional, like the option to "turn off" the 5 second wait after a goal is scored.

Very nice. I think having them as optional would be good. Like the short reset, sometimes straight after a goal you just want to get back into the action...

if short reset is on it will be totally off

Is there anyway to store the replays and then play them all at the end of the match?

Will you be able to automatically save all your goals if you choose to ? be nice i think although in games i very rarely score (i play sweeper)

This sounds like one huge task, sure glad im not the coder >_<
