Obstacles, upgrades ?

This mod makes me remember an old game : Speedball
would it be possible to have a map with some funny stuff like electrified bumpers, mines, and some upgrades who could appears randomly in the field to boost a player during 10 or more seconds ?

Anyone see the new version of Speedball? I saw a preview in Edge months ago, but nothing since. Reading it recently again it sounds remarkably like Deathball o_O

there have been custom maps with traps and stuff....
but this is only fun for 5 minutes, after that you wanna play seriously

Speedball 2000 or whatever they were going to call it has been put on hold (probably cancelled) by the way.

It's probably better for Speedball, since the two games are almost identical, only one of them is free
