Maybe you could take advantage of the best attacker/keeper thing for this? The best attacker from either team are automatically put up, and vice versa with the keepers.

i am not a dumb americain (an americain yes but not dumb), and i still think that golden goal is the best way to go, becuase over time situations and so much more tense and more fun, plus it adds something to game in that a team knows that if they are behind if they can get that last goal to tie they still have a chance at winning. I don't know about you but i don't get much out of tieing a team, golden goal adds a lot of tension to the overtime and the actuall game. that being said pks would suck becuase there wouldn't be a good way to do them (i h8 them even in the real life cuz it feels like a cheap victory)

i mean its dumb how in US sports they cant live with a tie, they have to get a decision, even if both teams were equally

in a cup thats fine, but not in regular league play
