a zipped umod will save SOOOOOOO much transfer time!

the fact you download it once...does it cause you that much pain.
you play deathball right, so you must have at least a 512 connection right? you could download 90ish meg in around 10 minutes at least...and you download it..once..uhhuh.

there are many 56k db players, for which 90megs takes about 3 hours. If it could be reduced then do it. But those of us who can;t use umods still need to zip or exe

actually the .rar'd umod at max compression is about 35megs...
.zip, i'm not sure.

ok, i will upload a .umod.rar to my site tonight (about 11-12 hrs time) for those of you who don't want to dl 90 megs. Alternatively (and easier) u could do it davidm

lets make a selfextracting exe which contains a rar file which contains a zip file which contains a umod
db down to 2mb 0_o

Umod might be n00b friendly (no wonder surge wants 'em

), but they got 1 flaw. If 2 umods install the same file and you only unsintall 1 of them, then the umod file deletes all files which were included in it and that contains also the file from the other umod which you still might need....
