The spammer silencer has just added one keystroke per msg to spammers. e.g. instead of pressing
T -> up arrow -> enter
you now can press
T -> up arrow -> any character -> enter
giving the following messages where any character is comma in this case
me: spam
me: spam,
me: spam,,
me: spam,,,
me: spam,,,,

i'm sure your coders can figure out how to stop it (even I could) so please do. all your spam ban system does is make spam take 1/3 more time.

The idea is that it stops binds from being so annoying, since unless you've got an infinite amount of keys, you would need to bind several to the same thing in order to work around it...

i use my space bar instead after bringing it back up

It's funny watching people miss an extra-character hit though

its just to stop those n00bs who spam their ***LOOOOOOL*** binds all the time etc

its funny that all people that i considered as spammers did fall for the trap immediately

he looks at me, but i dont even have that bind, so he can fo. as for fs, those were a minority of them, some of which already left the last few days, so su and get off our case davidm for the last time

yeah, but its a simple (extraordinarily so) thing to fix. i know alot of ppl who piss me off by saying a normal thing, but then doing the T -> up -> enter thing to say it 3 or 4 times.

I havnt looked to be honest, but it is the owner of the servers decision if he wants to censor his players or not. If its not a server option, technically it is illigal.

Surge... it is a server side option which is on by default...

and thus, there is no problem...

And surge is right, it should be an option but if it is, I'm turning it of in my server so more people would come in, even khushdi will :p
