-Bots no more standing there doing nothing, sometimes they boost each other (and even do multijumps in the air). A bit more pass-happy now. But they still suck and you cannot play seriously with them. We are going to make kick ass bots for 1.9 or 2.0!

agreed, i guess 95% of all playa's play online. I mean, if u can play with real people around the world why should u play with stupid comuter programs?

Because online players are a minority (5% probably)

Because it's interesting to fiddle about with AI

Because bots dont call u n00b nor lamer

I'm sure it could be arranged ...for that extra bit of realism.

You could also get them to:

a) only pass to you if u have a clan-tag
b) volley everything that comes near them
c) think they are 'teh 1337357'
d) leave a game when they are loosing, and in goal
e) post whinging threads on this forum

They pass around and boost teamies to the ball, also one goes keep at round start. big big jippy yay

I'd like them to say stuff tho, like rofl or or /o\ at own goals etc. Maybe flame u in teamsay ^_^

All pubs will be full with 10 players all the time ^_^ (and u wont even notice :p)

i wanna make up a new bot set, give em names similar to human db players, and give em according chat lines that they keep on kicking out

Last night when my internet crapped out on me, I tried out the new bots and did a 1on1 with just a keeper. I was playing icedemon and the keep would always get stuck on the post and wouldn't move. Also when i killed the bot, it never came back, even after i scored a goal.

Bots are good, why?

1.) many newbies think this mod sucks
A.) they download it, play instant action, think it sucks, and quit.
B.) they get their butt kicked online, can't practice in instant action with the bots, think it sucks, and quit.

2.) noobs: the skill level of newbies will improve if they can "get the hang of it" in instant action.

3.) More and better maps: How can people fully evaluate new maps just by looks?

- the deathball community is too small, this effects the enjoyment of this mod for many. This mod needs more players who stick with the game. It needs more servers, more player filled servers, and more maps being played. It needs more opportunities to have fun.

When I first joined deathball back in 1.4/1.5, There was a lot more players. I use to love playing Curve. There was always a couple of server running and playing curve filled with people. Those days are long gone. Days of several filled servers playing several different maps is gone. I would like to see those days return. For that to happen, deathball need more player who don't quit after giving it a try.

- besides, many players leave deathball just because of the size of the deathball community. It's too small. They don't find enough opportunities to have fun, so they leave. I hope this changes.

2.....i disagree, it will never play like with humans....so when they own in instant action and they join a server with humans they will be n00bs again
