well i was on a pub and the ball got shot upfield, me and drago were on different teams and i tried to boost him back so he wouldt get to the ball , he just started calling me lame and all, he said it was lame to boost without reason. WHY LAME?!?!?!?! boost back u moron if u hate it. well this discussion took us about 15 minutes and then i left the server, if he cant handle me boosting him back without him having the balls , then shut it. I even explained why i boosted him, its not only to boost the dude that has the ball, oO well gimme ur opinion because i dont like to be called lamer for just boosting

dont worry you not lame just dont pay attention to nub cakes like him so long as he isnt in your clan you have nothing to worry about

yeah but as some others agreed with drago if u boost someone to hold him back while the ball isnt in ur area , can u boost an opponent then?

tbh you can do whatever you want its a free game and it all makes th enoobs stand out

Meh i do that to be annoying (being annoying is my way of defending <8-D ) dont c the prob with it tho O_o.

i played with him he was on blue and i was on red it was 4 vs 3 for red so our keeper wasn't there. and he keep scoring from a long distance. i told him to stop laming. then he called his own clan noobs. just ignore him m8.

Throughout the time Ive played defence in DB, I have pretty always boosted opposition attackers around, even when the ball is nowhere to be seen.

Why do I do this? It annoys weak strikers and some start trying to boost me back, appearing to completely forget about keeping an eye on the ball. It puts a little more pressure on the enemy ballcarrier, as they have one less player to safely pass to.

From time to time, I get 'victims' who actually start the verbal attacks, which I find hilarious. It means Im getting to them, so I make more of a point of harrassing that individual!

Part of the art of being a good attacker is to make space for yourself. Conversely, defenders should be preventing this space.

well drago even said he was recruited for long shots. because he was good at them/ lool a keeper must suck then

If you are both running towards the ball, and you hit the opponent - they will fly over the ball, leaving you free to pick it up...


Seems a pretty good reason to boost actually.
