no the ingame browser works fine, i have been making an online version at
http://www.morritt.tv/ut2003
only theres no way i can tell of sorting out the servers into categories based on the ip address, afaict i would have to connect to EVERY server to find out what game they are running, this seems pointless because the in game browser can refresh selected game types only [if you know what i mean]
my only other option would be to cache every server for a period of time after pinging it
but that > 2000 servers!
so i just wondered if theres a list anywhere that would be useful?

you dont need to connect, highlight the server and look at the info box bottom left. ip at the bottom.

did you see the link, it might have been clearer...
anyway, some more research seems to say that the ut ingame browser appears to query the master server directly, so it looks like i cant do it the way that i want which is a shame.

It would be nice, but thats why theres something called the All Seeing Eye, which I use for BF1942 since there are so many servers.
Use All Seeing Eye, or work on your project, gl

ASE piggy backs on the master game servers. It sees everything the real in-game browsers see and sometimes more.

I was looking to put the status of a couple of servers on my site, any idea how to query an unreal server (for player numbers, map, etc.)? Or can you query the master server with a specific ip?
