"DeathBall v1.3b
This was the first mod to be released for UT2003, and on the surface of it looks just like a remake of the standard Bombing run game type. However it has two big differences. One there are no weapon pick ups, the only weapon you have is the Shield gun, and two you can only be killed if you are holding the ball, otherwise you are just bounced back by the hammer attack of the Shield gun as it contacts you. This makes the game much more like a game of rugby/american football, as players get stuck in trying to get the ball of the carrier, or blocking opponents as their team makes a rush for the goal. It comes with its own maps, prefixed "DB", which range from futuristic arenas to the more surreal and bizarre, such as DB-Lego (pictured). The maps are basically based around a football pitch with two goals at either end. Bot support is good, with the bots knowing when to pass to you (activated by you pressing right mouse and indicated in game by a nice flashing red circle around your model), and amongst themselves. Again another simple concept executed with style, with is tons of fun to play.."
^^^Note, bot support is good...apparently.
