I remember reading something the other day somewhere here about a bind or something which lags either u or the person near u out, or something like that, i dunno really...just wanted to find out more, cos I think i've seen it being done a few times...where u go to hit the ball carrier, as u get close things get all laggy, then suddenly he is past u and scoring a goal.
A nice proportion of the goals DEUS have conceeded recently could be attributed to lag. Not sure about this "lag bind" though. I'll believe it when I see it. Is it called KaZaA by any chance?
well a few months ago , fizzy found out a "bug" in the game when you spamm in a certain way every one lags , and you can just run in the goal ..... dont know if its fixed tho
i thought there was a bind that goes something like this: onhold set net 1000 on release set net back to what ever u have it like 10000 makes ur player lag, i like making binds because it seems to be the only thing i can do
i don't know much about servers, but afaik changing netspeed sends a msg to the server, so the server sends out the right amount of stuff. So spamming the netspeed bind might cause the server to lag i guess.

aye, was used a lot in UT days.. A=netspeed 100 | Onrelease=Netspeed 10000
Hmm, in the last 5 games (or so) that we've had there has been LOADS of laggy goals scored against us. Never seemed to lag when we were scoring though...
Well, I have to play with a max netspeed of 3500 these days due to others sharing the cable modem but sometimes I change it to a bit higher if I know that no-one else in the house will be playing DeathBall that day. I've no need to change it that often tho. It wouldn't be too hard to kick someone that changed their netspeed excessively tho if this bind is causing the lag?
