This is a map i will be making dedicated to all the dead/gone NA players and clans...
Just to give you an idea, its a graveyard map based on November (which is by a mapper that left DB also). The outer fences will be changed to high iron bars, like in a graveyard and be surrounded by well over 100 tombstones with names of various players, clans, and other DB notables that are gone now.
Just to give you an idea, here is a current list of dead NA clans that i have compiled, and the list isnt even complete...
S6, |ES|, -LS-, R6, [LIMB], |SEC|, |PW|, [El], }-EL-{, [L7], Pi, [TA], [BF], Co., [-SoP-], 3*P, [HEL], [N], |-MS-|, {S7}, X<TC>, <[R]>, CTCR, [iG], |NERV|, W*K, VIII, *HFE*, [LBC], WTF-, [WKD], <XXX>, and DRD
if you dont feel like counting, thats 33 clan tags... so i believe the name i chose, DB-NAID is quite accurate.
it stands for: Deathball North America Is Dead
I'll post a full list of all the notable players i can remember that will have tombstones. Unless contancted by the player themselves or a member of one of the clans on the list the map will go through and will never be updated unless their is minor spelling errors or huge glitches.
This will be my last project as a DB player in NA... afterwards, i will be leaving (yay). I just think this might make someone on the Euro end of DB realize how badly our community really is doing.
Oh yes, i will also be including the name of EVERY map made by a NA player that no longer plays DB. Its up to you to see how many custom maps the euro comunity has really contributed. I know theres only 1 in the official release.
edit: if you have REALLY old gamenet logs with a lot of old names i could really use them.. kthx.
