Enemy Territory finally the death of CS?

Just thought i would ask what people think of Enemy Territory, the best free game ever. I reckon it's the well anticipated death of that horrible 6 pixel game Counter-Strike, and about fucking time if it is! what do u think:devil:

not likely...
Although i personally like ET better, the CS fanbase is too large. The only game that will ever take its reign would be another counter-strike for Half Life 2 and even then, people would need a lot better computers to expect to run HL2...
CS can practically be run on a P2 400. Its survived the test of time, and always will untill a better game, with scalular low requirements arrives.

lol ET has a long way to go before its anywhere near CS size.. look at the recent cup sign ups on clanbase:
1. CounterStrike: 1286
2. UT iCTF: 225
3. Tactical Ops: 178
4. MoH Obj Real: 171
5. SOF2 CTF: 170
6. Q3 TDM: 165
7. MoH Obj: 163
8. RtCW ET: 154
9. UT CTF: 136
10. HL DoD: 135
in fact looking at that, no game comes even slightly close to CS

LOL!!! Global ops was the worst budget game to exist. My dad completed it!! I respect that CS was the first game like that and is and probably will be for a while the most popular online game ever but cmon, getting a bit boring! I am trying to convert people from CS to ET all the time now. CMON!!!!!

counterstrike is popular because it is fast , tactical and is easy to play (low-end pc's) , csplayers dont looks at the textures or the models the only thing they care about is the gameplay , and that is maybe the best in their kind
ps : cs is simple for beginners: run around , kill people , maybe plant bomb , defuse bomb . and then you look at ET and think about the stuff you need to do there ? O.o
ET is a good game but its too hard for the noobs that just start
