In an attempt to ease pickup starting, I've created a little script for mIRC

So all server admins, download this $\o/$

http://dbpickup.ath.cx

To install:
1) Extract to mIRC directory
2) In mIRC, type /load -rs pickupstarter.mrc
3) To run the script, right click in the channel window, goto DB Pickup Commands, then DB Pickup Starter

At the moment, IP, Password, Server Name and Game Info is remembered ;P

Me and FireCell are working on a version 3 with save and load settings capability, enjoy

is there any way i can add the line /load -rs pickupstarter.mrc

to my preform so it auto loads it on start up?

once its loaded, its loaded X_x
to unload type /unload -rs pickupstarter.mrc ;o

No need to perform scripts, as chick said once loaded, its loaded until you type /unload -rs scriptblala.mrc

ok, since only DB_PickupY is here, you have to modify the script (sorry, i will let you be able to change the name of the bot you message in the next version)

edit pickupstarter.mrc with notepad, then scroll down to:

/msg DB_Pickup addgame $returnip $returnpass $returnname $returnmap $returnplayers $returnoneteam $returnteamname $returnteamcolor $returnposition $returntype
/msg DB_Pickup info ok

and change it with:

/msg DB_PickupY addgame $returnip $returnpass $returnname $returnmap $returnplayers $returnoneteam $returnteamname $returnteamcolor $returnposition $returntype
/msg DB_PickupY info ok
