Everyone who enters that channel knows there are rules to abide by. Decided by Catalyst and Goldeneye the channel owners.
One of them is politeness that in the channel you speak English so that everyone can understand you. Although recently friends of and including DavidM feel it neccesary to talk German. I let this slide on numerous occasions after warning them, but they continue.. i feel this is disrespect for the channel rules and tbh disrespect to me for plainly ignoring me. So ive started banning for people for ignoring this.. well as i havent kicked or banned davidm yet because i get the feeling he will be protected by the bot.. He didnt even use to be part of #dbpickup it was a community run exercise and everything was fine everyone obeyed the rules. Rules are set to be obeyed!

disobeying the rules is one thing, then rubbing it into peoples faces is another thing. i dont have anything against germans, but if you cant obey rules, punishment needs to be dealt

Its the fact that in my face, people still continued to disobey the rules. I didnt make them, but if i dont enforce them then why were they created in the first place?

Because some english people were offended that they couldnt understand.. you could have easily spoke in #deathball where there is no such rule.

you just had to point it out to make yourself feel important or something like that

that rule just makes poor people look even poorer

but since you cannot admit the obvious, just don't say anything now

you speak perfect english, why bother argueing?

If you cant speak or you dont understand a word on english then you can speak your language all you want. If someone in there is nice enough to translate for you thats cool to. Its the fact that your being an ignorant asscake that bugs people.

if i was making myself feel important my name would be DavidM
if i didnt care i wouldnt have said anything, as cata said, this rule isnt a bannable reason, but disrespecting ops is.

The reason people don't like other people talking in their own language is due to the fact that sometimes you talk about the person who is trying to understand the other group speaking another language. Say if I came into #dbpickup and talked canadian, (ie. its still english

) it doesn't make that much of a deal. If your watching by as they talk, kindly ask them, what are they talking about, tell them to obey the rules, and ask them to talk in #deathball. If they don't comply, go to a op.

On another note, davidm is an op in #dbpickup. I used to go there before but stopped now because of school and stuff. Anyways, just because of his suggestion to change the bot to his personal liking, he gets authority. So what if he is friend's with GE, that's not the point. All im saying is, he says he was always in dbpickup playing games? Sure, when? When your squad wanted to go against 5 other random ppl? That was the only time you really showed up. Now, that he has changed the bot to a more of a skill rating bot to even the teams, he sticks there like he is a regular.

actually bullet a lot of us have been in #dbpickup longer than him and me and firecell are ops too.

and rules were made to be obeyed, not to be disobeyed

DavidM is it true that the other night i allowed you all to speak german without complaining because after a period of time i was the only active person in there whos only language is english. It didnt bother me so i thought well ill leave them to it. But when other people are in there that cant speak German, its just plain rude imo. 1) because they dont know what your saying 2) because its a rule. I asked politely several times but instead of speaking English or moving to another channel i was blatently ignored. Kicking people does not make me feel big or as you put it "make my dick grow" infact ive rarely ever had to kick people. Also i have no problem with the people i had to kick other than they did not obey the rules. Tbh if you cant understand my reasoning behind it you are rather ignorant.
