Mapping Errors
This may be off topic but it does relate to maps so...here's my question.
I just installed unreal tournament 2003 on my new computer after I did a few formats and all..yeah.. The problem is, I went into unrealred to start and try working on some maps and I can't select anything. I can build a new room or cube or something, then I try and click on a wall to select it's texture and it just won't select! I can click it so many times and nothing. I've tried using shift+click, alt+click, everything.
I want to avoid reinstalling unreal since Id have to redownload all the patches and stuff... If I select a texture and then build a room then that texture will come up but I can't click to change it for the ceiling or floor.
Any help here would be seriously helpful...
Edit: I just got into a command window and when I click to select a wall, it says "Cmd: Fire" I dunno if this will help or not but...yeah...

I have anti-aliasing on with my video card so that's probably it... I run Windows XP Pro and on my old computer (same OS but different everything else..) it worked just fine.
I just looked at my video card's settings and I had anti-aliasing on so I put it on application preference (you can't turn it off...just down to 2x) and loaded back up unrealed and it's still not working...

This person had the same problem:

Fixed by disabling anti-aliasing.

Make sure anisotropic filtering is off too. If that doesn't work:
i've got an nvidia card, but maybe try this:
Start -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings (tab) -> Advanced
Then there should be a tab with the name of your graphics card, somewhere in there you might have a slider with AA settings. Off is 2nd on my slider. (it goes: App Pref; Off; 2x; something weird; 4x;...)
Otherwise, if you can only have it set to application preference, then maybe root around in your ini files for an AntiAlias setting or something similar.
