Deathball has one great quality that won't be vanishing in a hurry. Replayability.
For people like me who used to play CS a lot, I just find FO too similar to it to be refreshing and replayable. The reality is, it gets boring way to fast.

halflife mod rippoff ? wtf , i never heard of it
and if it was so it was perfectionised by team vortex where the other team failed on the HL engine .i like db the most . and about the community ? O.o our community is nice and small and is friendly (sometimes) and we are close to the developers , and they listen to our opinion
and they do everything to make the game better and whatever the FO team does ... at the end of the day its just the same as all the other 10000000 fp shooters out there !
im sry but cs is even better then this !

Personally I think Deathball is a hunk of junk, unoriginal and basically stolen from the HalfLife mod I used to play near the end of my HalfLife days. I think Faceoff is more of a game
