I was in the pickup yesterday and all the attacking positions were taken, so I decided to play as my clan position as a defender. Now, on V3, people should think that I'm one of the more experienced defenders and know how to defend against most opponents. Hell, I find defending in North America too easy, it just bores me 5 minutes into the game.

Anyways, feediko jioned before I did, and it was 7-8 players already jioned. He removed himself, and called me and slin (dont' know who this guy is) noob defenders. Then he referred to us having no ratings. Now, in your pickup I believe you have a new bot, but wasn't sure if it was implemented. However, my plea is, why do people think that playing with somebody who has less skill than you is a bad choice to be in a pickup.

On our pickup/pug, we welcome n00bs, and after a few games, they understand and become better players. This results in faster skill advancement for upcoming players.

If this is not the way in euro pickup, there should be a change and welcome n00bs. All they need is a few games to get themselves to the next level.

Now, my last point is, I thought the ratings weren't being distributed, so how does feediko know we not rated if the rating system has begun.

in the pickup, ur name is underlined in the bot status etc if u have been rated, isnt if not....explains that

on the welcoming noob point i think its nice to welcome new people into pickups, theyve shown effort and intelligence to get there:P let em play:) the quicker u help em the faster theyre not noobs

David "judges" the players and gives them ratings

if he's never seen the person before he cant give ratings

well, sorry fallen, don't know you very well

but since i'm rated rather high (dunno why :X), i don't want to play with unrated players i don't really know because i end up playing with them / teams are unfair... okay, start the flaming 0_o

It's the system's (read: davidm's/goldy's) way of making teams fair, so u cant say:

See this is why we thought that the ratings were not published, yet davidm's old buddies/or current buddies of sd know that each people are rated this and that.

Fallen you obviously didnt read the EULA that came with deathball, entitled DaveyBoy to everything including your first born
