i have been some weird computer problems after installin db , thats the reason why i havent been online if any1 wonders ... here the prob :
... i just bought a new mobo , a ASUS A7N8X Deluxe . i formated my comp , removed my old stuff , put in the new stuff . i checked multiple times that everything was correct , and it was . Start comp , POST message is okay . I put in my win xp cd and want to install win xp (im at the cd i386 point) . All goes well with the install , and i reboot the system as it says . When it starts again , it will install more stuff . Now is were the weird stuff starts. After acceptin the agreemnt stuff , it starts to varify c: , and success , then after that , it trys to install files from the cd , but it couldnt install all files (hardly none!!!)
I format c: again (!!!) and do all that stuff again , now , it cant varify c: and cant install ANY file ! (but the cd i386 still worked fine !!!)
What wrong ? everythin is right installed . In BIOS i have only changed my cpu speed , nothin else , the rest was default/auto settings . Can some1 help me ? i really dont want to pay like 40 £ for a company just to check my comp for nothin
