Alt-fire passing

alt-fire passing should be changed so it can only lock on to team-mates in close vicinity.

for long range stuff, use the primary shoot mode

no, i'm saying that the current range is too large...

it should be for really close range passing only... i can currently pass to someone 3/4 the way up the pitch

Half-way up the pitch would be fair imo.
But the thing is (as it is with a lot of db's gameplay settings), it's been like this for way too long, and I'm afraid, dear relik (;)) that we will be the only 2 ppl to NOT majorly dislike that change and be revolted.

Anyway, nah ppl wouldn't like that change and they would bitch (mainly @ davidm and it gets postcount++ but still...uhrm, let's not ^^;)

yeah passing is fine and remember the fact that if something soo major as passing is altered the spammers, i mean concerned hardcore deathball fans will constantly complain and post about it.

personaly i think the the oppisite. if you can get open that part of the field why not let the person pass to you, just put a cap on the highth a ball can go and then make you be able to pass to any team mate on the field

i really do see a day when euro's ask for alt pass to be taken out... that will be a sad day for db. the problem is not skill, the problem is time it takes to pass, if you have to wait .7 seconds after you decide to pass between each pass you have a REALLY slow game.

as long as i am stating things i know won't get done. the delay on the gun should be takin down and allow you to pass faster imo

Similar things happened when tennis was released. DB will regain its (very low) level of popularity. And if it doesn't, and DBW takes over, then "Viva Le Revolution!"

not me m8, alt pass is one of the most improtant tools in good offense imo, weve ripped many a team open by using quick fire alt passes, using primary all the time slows attacks down
