Hi, A few of you know me as {UFO}EarthJam. Myself and a few friends have a PUG (pick up game) Channel on an IRC network.
irc.progameplayer.com #WarPug. The channel is running great and brand new, We have Pugserv and server for those of you intrested in DeathBallWarFare. Many of us are working on new maps for the Game. Finding this a wonderful break from waiting for DB pugs to start.

Please come look me up with your maps, and I will Upload them onto a server to be played and enjoyed.

Also please come join our DBW community of about 30 players strong . The wonderful thing we find about this game, Is it's non ping essential game play. Making it so all of us from Different countries can play together. We look forward to seeing you and watching the community grow as we evolve into this style of gameplay.

Can some1 post a guide or link to a guide of how the pugserv works? I've never used one at all, and I know many Aussies have never used one for db.

Well generally a Pugserv works as followed,

players wanting to join a game becasue they can not find a public server with enough players or players with enough skill too feel challenged.

So once entering into a pug room.
type !list this will tell you the current letter of pug and how many players; Lets say the Current letter is Y
Change your Nickname like so.
/nick Y-Myname here
this will make you "readable" by the pugserv and add you to the current game players list.

Once the set number of players have added the prefix in front of thier names. The Pugserver will respond as such.

Pugset , To become captains type !captain2323 <--this number changes every pug.

once 2 captains type in (the 2 fastest typers)
They type !list , this will show all players available for this pug.

They then choose players as followed
!pick 2 :where #2 player is Y-yournamehere

this happens until all players are picked and we all then goto an open server that someone provides. Since there are many clanner and admins available there usually never a problem we dont use Public servers for Pugs. We Use private ones.
