K, altho I'm not a mapper and it's generally seen as a bad thing to force things on others while u can easily do em urself..i'm gonna do it anyway =O

WE R NEED MORE LEET MAPS!

Fuck league play, fuck even p00p, fuck even fields and fuck nice fitting goals, as long as it's fun right?

I want more trick maps, i want more original training maps, i want more maps adding JUST that little twist to gameplay (c also: slamball ;p)

I just want to play and I want fun and a challenge, and I don't care if it's fair or not O_o

IMO the best maps are always maps like db-zodiac, db-slamball, and stuff like db-rotatorcube.

I know i should do this myself, but im a knob and im sure there are some mappers out there with nothing to do :p

So uhm uhm..please make more fun maps ^_^ kthx.

got any good ideas then? its kinda hard making an original map for db cause if its not a cube, a lot of people won't like it then

I totally agree with you Messy. Then again, that's probably cause I only play one league match a week, and about 5-10 normal games in that week. ^^

maps these days are based off looks and nothing else cause most maps being released are a cube.

OK granted that cube maps tend to play better than most, but quite frankly I'm beginning to tire of the same old gamplay. I hope to get more unique maps played by getting them into this second Deathball Ownage Map Pack.

well everyone who thought about new-gameplay-maps knows that it is very difficult.

a big problem is that you really don't know if your idea will be successfull or it was just another fuck-up-the-gameplay map

perhaps it could help when we organize some testing games where we just make some simple maps that are only made for testing gameplay.

filesize should be rather small then and we could meet us on a server to check out new ideas ...

I've got two ideas on my list of maps to make

1 has basket ball lookin hoops for goals with blocking zones around it so you can't get to close to it to easily /keep/ against such a small goal.. and another where the goal is a circle in the wall like that low gravity map that should be a little weird to defend, but might be fun :O

Meh, davidm won't like it anyway, and i'm sure gs.net will put it on the custom server if it's nice, just ask panda and look at him with ur puppy eyes ^_^

I dont like the Basketball idea, but the hole in the wall sounds good try ;o
