I'm working on a little Mario Brothers tribute map for DBW. Here's what I've come up with so far.

For the pic, the background will possibly be changed, depending on how much people like it.
Other then that, better models will probably be made for the coins and pipes for final version, as well as real lighting and such. Just keep in mind that the lighting is very beta.
Check it out, tell me what you like/dislike, or if anything should be added.

dunno, im doing probably another 2-4 stages of public beta testing on North American server to get it to be as good as possible, so maybe another week or two
just figured i'd get it out to the Euro community to see what they thought

i took a look at it, its quite good,
but getting on the higher floors depends on the walk range,
didnt it?

either way you'll get up there eventually with thee jumppads
and if you play with the NA rules, you can be up top by 2nd turn

There is a Rap and a Techno Version of the Super Mario Theme on the net somewhere, but if u have DC or Kazaa or iMesh...

How wierd... I actually downloaded those different mario theme versions last night. Coincidence?
Anyways, I decided that the rap version (50 cent or someone like that) was utterly crap, the techno one didn't sound all that different (just effects added to the tune) and goldfinger did a ska version (that was good).
There's also a version by "Group X" (who are apparently Arabian) who sing the tune and even sound effects... Oh how I laughed.
