ut1 had mirror surfaces... ut2k3 doesn't.. only cubemaps i think.. (which are pre-rendered mirors if you like) so don't think it's possible

mirrors made HOMS and they killed FPS

No chance to do thisone... since thera arent any mirrors at all, and if there would be...

i tried to build a mirror with the db camerascript and a scripted texture, but it worked not so well.
you cant adjust the camtrack mark that it straight faces the player who is standing infront of the mirror.
but a nice idea!

Yes (but not nice) and no (so that it is acceptable),
effect would not be very well... all people must modify their user.ini (which causes crashes on systems so that's why epic turned it off by default).
Maybe using warpzones could do the effect u like... but would be very difficult to build and extreme fps issues.
So in my opinion not possible, corrections are welcome *g*

it is possiblee to do a mirror that will just reflect one layer deep, however, to do a true wall of mirrors (neverending amount of reflections, bla bla bla) will use a neverending amount of CPU power, so its basically not possiblee to make a true hall of mirrors

So what would you see in a second layer mirror?
If a mirror is reflected in a mirror, you would need a texture to fill that space.
