ok, any chance the coding can be altered for the dbl, fixture date wise, because over the last 2 weeks or so, ive put in loads of dates to play other teams and they just havnt replied and now the date range has been exceeded and i cant put in a date anymore.

No teams can play anymore, its been over 2 weeks since we had a dbl game, and any time we ask a team to play in irc i get 1 of 2 responses

"not tonight , we need our best 5" 0_o or

"not tonight, too short notice, put a date in dbl" mmm well i did but you didnt do anything bout it, either accept or reject it.

if you removed the coding to only allow fixtures to b placed 48 hours or more before and removed the dates i could at least re insert new dates for clans to ignore.

leagues supposed to finish in 2 weeks i think , and some teams have still got to play like 12 games

I completely agree. I want to arrange dates for the backlog of fixtures but cannot because the date range has exceeded.

And there is not a chance in hell all games will be played within two weeks until seasons end. The DBL process needs a bit of a shake-up...

Put the DBL in a cocktail maker :p

trip asked 2 nights on the trot somtime this week, we played you in a fw, then 20 mins l8r after a arranged war fell thru, we asked you and you said you cant

Its amazing the number of teams that are happily playing vs. pickups, but when we ask them they magically can't play

agreed. scheduling system sucks. I couldn't setup a match properly, apparently still hasn't changed.
They tried to have this season last only 2 months. obviously it'll last the usual three...

Teams are to nice to each other in the DBL, imo the only way to get the games done if to start making teams default if they wont play you... simple, then they will start playing . It sounds harsh but imo its the only way to make teams play.

Perhaps by getting the council/admin to schedule the matches for each league could be a solution, rather than leaving it to team captains to sort out for themselves.

Two matches a week seems to be about the norm, so have set fixtures for say Mondays and Thursdays, only rescheduling matches that fall on national holidays. If someone can't play a particular week due to other engagements in real life(tm), pretend that they are injured with a muscle strain :p

hu hu, okay, so, that's great: first "Teams are to nice to each other in the DBL", then "start making teams default if they wont play you". yay! really nice to eachother and fair indeed... Might as well start a poll to see who gets the highest default win count..
If a team doesn't have their 5 players avaliable, these is a reason for it, period. matches will be played, sooner or later, just take it easy
