The Deathball Ownage Map Pack #2

After some issues with uploading the pack, I finally got the Deathball Ownage Map Pack #2 up on PC Game Mods. What you have here are 17 of the best custom Deathball, Tennis, and Warfare maps. A lot of time and effort went into organising this map pack, and I hope that you all find some new favourites in here. :)

The community loves you now (I think ;p altho u wudn't say that if you see the majority's single-minded taste for maps..).

Hope to see these maps on a lot of servers soon \o/ (and remove smallcube >_< oh..and make mapvote work ;))

edit: twiggy wins \o/ 4 maps x_X that's twice as much as all the runner-ups had (scotteh, rens, rage and nolan) \o/

Armagon, thanks for all your efforts.

Messy, I only win if the community plays a wider range of maps and more mappers emerge making a wider verity of maps. I always thought deathball could be more than an empty rectangle. If I have inspired people to both play and create something a little different, than I've done what I set out to do. When I see more maps with layouts similar to mine with better graphics, original meshes and textures, cool effects and they get good playtime, then I win.

My vision of deathball is a futuristic sport with some characteristics in common with football/soccer. I always thought deathball was influenced and portrayed too much like soccer and lacked, somewhat, it's own identity and feel. If deathball is accepted more like a cool futuristic sports game than a modified soccer game, then my mapping has paid off.

Hopefully future maps will open deathball up a little wider. Still waiting to see someone make a good futuristic goal mesh that pulls deathball into the future and out of the past.

For those of you who don't check the main page very often, both Deathball Ownage Map Packs can be found in the "Downloads" section of Deathball.net.
