only use nnscript if you want to screw up your irc, add dozens of pointless "features", have spam messages in all channels you are in with every action you do, etc X_x
this tool is a shame

it has got *some* nice features though.
especially for newcomers to irc as it makes previously hidden options more accesible.

regular mirc actually blinds me.
nnscript makes an ugly program usable.
xchat is nice too though

no good.
i use to boost including brain use, and get a lot of moaning for it (because i often dont boost people), but in the end i was right, because they were needed just where they were without boosting.
most of the time people are just boosted out of defense even tho they are needed they in a moment.
or wrong timed boosting into attack...agh
sometimes it feels like im the only one who thinks about when/if to boost
I agree with DavidM

but still i always try to boost, i just cant help it

To be honest, if my team wins position I will look to boost people down the field. I can't always see if we've given the ball away (is it wrong to expect my teammates not to give the ball away cheaply?). It is down to the player being boosted to determine how far they should travel. It does seem like a reflex action to always use all your jumps if you get boosted, even if it's not necessary...
But on a pub, being able to boost and receive boosts puts you way above those who can't. So it is good advice to beginners to get good at it...

while mirc is a lot more mature than xchat, the bonus of xchat's perl and python support is just too big to ignore. mirc script is just fugly X_x

Yeah, I'm very new too. I've been playing for two or three days.
Anyways, I'm attempting to learn, but it's not easy. I'm about ready to give up because of all the ridicule I suffer from at the hands of the other players, particularly the F0B (I know that's not it, but I'm too lazy to do it correctly) clan. They laugh at me for being a newb, and when I say "Instead of mocking me, why not help me?" they kicked me from the server. So the mocking really doesn't help in training. You made a kickass game, Team Vortex, but the in-game community is shit.
