just a guess as i dont have any clue how the coding works.. but if its trying to judge as you jump in the small gap between when you press jump again you are actually slowing down or even falling.. maybe if they pass at that moment it will go across the floor?

FireCell might be right there: seeing as the new code is supposedly designed to judge the Z-axis movement better, it might also react more dramatically to the little falling motion in between jumps :)

For passes where placement is key, I would rather just shoot a pass instead via LMB... I never did trust the pass algorithms much for a tight pass

I prefer LMB altogether :)
Both when giving and receiving assists.

Many people don't though :) and that shouldn't be a problem, as long as there's no ridiculous advantages like there was before.
Although now, unfortunately, there's the bug with it passing underneath, which is rather unfair too :(

I personally don't mind ;) but it should be fixed :)

I don't think it is a bug, Firecell was corect, if you are failing at the moment of the pass it will go lower, if you are going up it should go to you.

Pretty sure it's a bug.. at all other levels of jumping it doesnt detect movement that drastically... so just because at one point u happen to be falling it should not affect the pass this much. The pass comes out almost like it didnt even lock (but faster) and kinda sputters on the ground, seems way off.

Anyway, back to the way TV wants it:

- Altfire/Pass code changed. It's much more accurate. Passing to jumping players, will hit them directly.

When this "bug" or whatever it is happens, passing is anything but accurate.. should be fixed.

i know what you mean, but it doesn't look so much a bug as something that isn't optimised, though i agree it would be best to be fixed

Cant this 3rd jump milarky just be changed to a 2nd jump thing? fair enough you can lock within the 3rd and last jump.... but in 2nd jump, you have a 3rd jump and then a last 4th jump...(locking on 2nd/3rd) making you... higher than the ball... thats whats making it go under you...

Am i wrong?

I think the only way of solving the '3 jump' volley (a.k.a Backvolley) is to take out QUAD jump.... cause you can always jump over the ball if you want to.... thats if people start locking on 2nd jump as i stated above...

AND I AINT WANTING QUAD JUMP REMOVED!

You have never 'FIXED' this 3 jump stuff.... you just always SAY you have....

I dont even see what such a problem 3rd jump was in the first place...Not like its hard to defend, its just mainly a fast break move in small 3on3 2on2 games. If you seriously do it in 5v5, You'll get fucked. =o
