i also liked db most in the beginning. you had to improve teamplay and defence to win. i guess boosting and volley-abusing made the gameplay to strange for new players thats why teams will die and no others players come along on servers.

i liked the version where passes were even slower. very wide recieves were nearly impossible in fact of a good defence which timed interceptions that forces a fast and short teamplay.

but i dont want to miss the keeper abilities at the current versions. its the best setting ever...

in my own opinion its not the actual game thats killing deathball=/ its people whining etc, its the arrogance and "uber eliteness" of certain people that is destroying the community, im a strong believer in the fact that deathball was and could still once again be the best mod in the community, but until everyone just shuts the fuck up and stops moaning it wont be.

its not depending on the mod......in version 0.9 you could boost your teammates back like now......its just that people didn't do it back then

what gaz said, although i enjoyed 1.3 and 1.4 too i don't really have a favourite, for me it depends on who i play with

why are you using a broomstick?

i like this version too and yes i found volleying in 1.4b easier too but this is by far in balancing the best version yet and what i see davidM doing to deathball can only make it better
