hi, i've been scratching my head over the past hour because i can't seem to find any relation between the background thing and the rest, i feel like i'm really close to the answer and it's just a simple thing that is keeping me stuck

I'm almost certain about the connection between the title and the pins, but I'm pretty stuck.

Hi! I've repicked up Notpron after a few months, solved a couple levels, and promptly ran into a brick wall at level 52. I see what map it is, I see the image in the background, and I have some ideas about what the title could mean. However, I have no idea how to put this information together, or if my interpretation is even correct.

One quick question -- is the audio important?

I will probably need to PM someone if anyone is available after a bit, though.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but Google maps wasn't launched until 2005. This level was written in 2004!
