im liking it a lot
are the hills terrain or meshed?
i like the grass on the pitch, you could prob get away with scaling it down.
odd point: the shadow falls the wrong way compared to the direction of the sun (i notice minor things like that)
vvvvvvvv- not rusty, a more battered, weathered look maybe

interesting, tho it will look a bit weired when you see a ball rolling and rolling... on sand
i like the tropical athmosphere, the grass is a bit disturbing yea
dunno about an other wall colour(maybe more rusty?)

there isno grass anymore. and yea mr fro i noticed that myself. i plan on touching things up. just wanted to get someting out there that's playable. i will work on it a bit more once i get home from work
and the hills are meshes. i also plan on making stuff out of bamboo, maybe like the goal posts and whatnot, we'll see

If you use terrain for the floor of the playing field, then you could break up the sand with some other ground textures. Thus the grass and veg might work. Or you could photshop a floor texture and blow it up big so it doesn't repeat.
- also looks like there should be some shadows. You don't need them dark. Just some very light shadows could really add to the map.

its looking a treat more and more.
echoing twigs sentiment about having a terrain base. it doesnt need to be a silly high res terrain, you could probably get by with 32x32. a little variation would be good.
mixing up the plants would be good too, there are multiple plant meshes available, or they are pretty simple to make yourself
if you do go this way, extend it outside the playing area and blend it into the rocks there. should you go this way, antiportal the walls to reduce the onscreen polys.
also, dont feel bad about missing the o out next time, i caught you :D

Looks very solid from what I see....it might lack some highlight though. Some building or so.
Why don't you make a gameplay difference to Cube? It's exactly the same.
Like goals on field instead of in the wall.

only thing about that is it allow's people to explore. perhaps i'll get rid of these walls. and put up some bamboo walls.

nice map eventhough it needs more textures especially around the field(u can ask inph to tweak it)..Btw I still don't get why the ball rolls in 2.4k the same way in a solid ground than it does in sand, grass, turf,..etc
